Comb Generator PG10
Comb Generator PG10

The comb generator PG10 generates pulse trains with a maximum repetition rate of 2.56GHz. An external clock signal between 480MHz and 2.56GHz is needed to provide the time base for operation. Two different operation modes are available, that can be selected via the instruments USB-interface:
In frequency divider mode the instrument generates output pulses according to the input clock frequency divided by one of the dividers /1, /2, /4, /8, /16, /32, /64 , /128, /256 or /512.
In PRBS mode pulses are generated according to the pseudo random binary sequence of length 2n-1 with n= 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11.
The comb generator provides short negative output pulses with a fixed pulse width ≤30ps and minimal phase variation.

Broadband 100 GBit/s 4:1 Multiplexer MUX 100G
100 GBit/s Output Signal The Sympuls multiplexer MUX 100G operates gap-free at data rates between 4 GBit/s and 100 GBit/s. A clock signal of half the output data rate is used to multiplex the four parallel data input signals into a serial output data stream of up to 100 GBit/s. All data and clock inputs are single-ended and DC-coupled allowing the generation of arbitrary data patterns even with long sequences of consecutive zeros or ones. The divided clock signal is generated internally and available at the clock outputs for driving the input pattern generator or as trigger signal. The adjustable delay allows to control the timing of the input data, if the clock output signal is used for driving the input pattern generator.

Differential Line Impedance Analyzer D-TDR 3000
Differential Line Impedance Analyzer D-TDR 3000 The handy sized line impedance analyzer D-TDR 3000 is used for the analysis of various lines and allows the precise localization of cable faults, shorts and termination mismatches. The impedance variation as a function of transmission line length is shown in graphical form on the screen of the connected computer. The combination of a fast push-pull pulse generator with a rise time of less than 100 ps and a sampling scope of 5 GHz bandwidth leads to a system-bandwidth of more than 3 GHz.
